Machine Ratings will rank every motorcycle manufacturer using a global ELO rating system — the same proven algorithm used in chess and competitive gaming, applied to motocross.
How It Works
Every time a race finishes, the finishing order adjusts ELO ratings for each manufacturer represented. If a Honda beats a KTM, Honda gains rating points and KTM loses them — weighted by how unexpected the result was. Over thousands of races across the platform, the ratings converge on a true competitive ranking.
Data Source: Registrations
Bike manufacturers are tracked through race registrations. When riders sign up for events, they declare their machine — make, model, and year. That registration data feeds directly into the rating engine after every scored race.
Manufacturer Leaderboards
See which manufacturers dominate at every level — from 50cc beginner classes to open pro. Filter by class, region, or discipline. Compare head-to-head matchup histories and rating trajectories over entire seasons.
Model-Level Insights
Go deeper than brand. Track individual models — CRF450R vs. KX450 vs. FC 450 — to see which bikes are winning in the real world, not just on spec sheets. Year-over-year model comparisons show which updates actually translate to results on the track.
