Coming Soon
Gear Ratings will rank helmets, boots, goggles, and riding equipment from every major manufacturer using a global ELO rating system — powered by AI computer vision installed at tracks.
AI Computer Vision
Tracks equipped with Adrenaline webcams use AI computer vision to identify rider gear in real time — helmets, jerseys, boots, goggles, chest protectors, and more. The system detects brands and models frame-by-frame as riders cross checkpoints, building a massive dataset of what gear wins races.
How It Works
After each race, finishing positions are cross-referenced with detected gear. The ELO algorithm adjusts ratings for each gear brand — if a rider wearing Alpinestars boots finishes ahead of one in Fox boots, Alpinestars gains rating points. Across thousands of races, the ratings reveal which gear the fastest riders actually wear.
Category Breakdowns
Gear ratings span every category: helmets, goggles, jerseys, pants, gloves, boots, chest protectors, and knee braces. Compare Shoei vs. Bell vs. Arai in helmets, or Alpinestars vs. Gaerne vs. Sidi in boots. Filter by class, skill level, or region to see what works best at every level of competition.
Real-World Performance Data
No more guessing based on marketing. See which gear makers consistently show up on podiums — not from sponsored athletes alone, but from the entire racing population. The data tells the real story about durability, comfort, and performance where it matters most: on race day.
