Practices
Under Development: The Practices feature is currently being actively developed. Some functionality described below may be limited or subject to change.
Practices allow you to organize non-competitive track sessions. Whether it's a dedicated practice day or a morning warm-up before the races, this tool helps you manage groups and track time.
Creating a Practice
Currently, practices are automatically added to your schedule when a new event is created.
Note: You may see an "Add Practice" button on the Organization Admin page. This button is currently disabled until the ad-hoc scheduling functionality is fully released. In the future, this will allow you to schedule standalone practice days independent of race events.
Practice Groups
Unlike race classes which are often defined by age and skill, practice groups are primarily defined by machine constraints to ensure safety on the track. Practice groups can also be restricted by age, skill level, and sex, just like classes, but they do not have purses or points.
When you create a practice group, you define the allowed bike sizes. This prevents dangerous mix-ups, like 50cc bikes sharing the track with 450cc pros.
Example Configurations
Big Bike Practice
Designed for full-sized motorcycles.
- 2-Stroke Class: Min displacement 125cc.
- Non-2-Stroke Class: Min displacement 250cc.
Small Bike Practice
Restricted to minis and smaller displacement machines.
- 2-Stroke Class: Max displacement 110cc.
- Non-2-Stroke Class: Max displacement 225cc.
